Customer Data

The customer data is collected and processed in accordance with the Finnish Data Protection Act (1050/2018) and the General Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679).

For what purposes is personal data processed?

We use the customer data for the purpose of processing, handling, archieving and following the orders.

The data can also be used to improve the company’s practises as well as to target direct mail. Tuuma Workwear does not disclose personal data to third parties. Personal data is processed in accordance with the legal provisions mentioned above.

What data do we process?

The customer data register includes following information:

  • Name and surname
  • Company name and ID, if the order is done by an enterprise
  • Street address
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Order information

Disclosing personal data is voluntarely, and we only process the data the customer has given consent to handle. However, disclosing basic information is necessary in order to send and receive an answer to a contact- or an offer form.  

Disclosing one’s personal data on our website happens either by filling out and sending a contact form or by placing an order. Personal data can, however, be obtained also via phone, meetings or email.

Disclosure of personal data and protection of the data

Customer data is handled only by Tuuma Workwear, and it is not disclosed to third parties. The handling of customer data requires the usage rights to the Tuuma Workwear server.

Tuuma Workwear handles the personal data with necessary protection measures and we do our best to prevent unauthorised access to the data. However, it must be noted that internet has risks concerining data protection, and complete protection can not be guaranteed.

You are entitled to request information on whether Tuuma Workwear is processing your personal data, and if so, what that data includes. You can exercise this right by contacting our advisor in customer data, whose contact information you can find above. If there are legal restrictions to disclosing some information, Tuuma Workwear will provide rationalization for withholding the information.

If in your opinion we are not processing your personal data in accordance with the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation, you are entitled to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in the EU Member State in which you have permanent residence or employment or where you consider the violation to have occurred. In Finland, complaints are lodged with the Data Protection Ombudsman.
